Talentd Hire: employer guide

Talentd Hire is for companies hiring freshers and early-career people in India. You post a job, we verify your company, and applicants from talentd show up in one list with checks you can read at a glance. One free job a month, with every applicant tool.

Getting started

Create your account

• Sign up with your email or with Google, and confirm your email address.
• Add your company: name, website, and a few details about what you do.
• Use your work email if you can. It makes company verification automatic.

Company verification

• If your work email matches your company's website, your company is verified automatically. Otherwise someone from talentd verifies it, usually within one working day.
• Once your company is verified, your jobs go live as soon as you submit them.
• Until then you can write jobs and save them. They are not shown to candidates yet.
• If we cannot confirm your company, we will tell you why and what would help.

Posting jobs

Writing a job

• Go to Jobs, then Post a job.
• Fill in the title, role, whether it is a job or an internship, where it is, and who can apply (batch years, degrees, experience).
• Add the skills a candidate must have and the ones that are nice to have. These are used to check each applicant.
• Pay is required. Jobs show a yearly range in lakhs (LPA). Internships show a monthly stipend in rupees.
• Set an application deadline.

Screening questions

• Ask short questions that candidates answer when they apply: yes or no, a number, a choice, or a few words of text.
• A question can be a must-have. A candidate who clearly misses a must-have is marked as not meeting it, and you see that in the applicant list.

Live jobs

• The free plan gives you one free job a month, with up to 1 open at a time. Pricing lists the paid options.
• A job that passes our automatic checks goes live straight away. If something needs a person to look at it, it waits for our team, and we usually answer within one working day.
• Jobs close themselves after the deadline.

Applicants

The list

• Every applicant to your jobs is in one list. You can filter by job.
• Each row shows the candidate's college, batch, and how they did on your checks: what they meet, what they miss, and what we cannot tell from their profile.
• Applicants who miss a must-have are listed last, not hidden.

Contact details unlock when you shortlist

• Before you shortlist someone you see their name, college, degree, batch, preferred cities, skills, project titles, work history, and answers to your questions. Phone numbers, email addresses and links that candidates typed into those answers are hidden.
• Their email, phone number, resume and profile links appear once you shortlist them.
• This keeps candidates from being contacted by people who have not read their application.

Statuses

Applied, Viewed, Shortlisted, Interview scheduled, Interview done, Offer extended, Hired, and Not selected. Candidates see the same words on talentd, and we email them when their status changes. A candidate can also withdraw.

Answer everyone

Candidates are waiting to hear back. If a job closes and applicants are still waiting with no answer, we remind you, and after a couple of weeks we tell them the job closed without a decision.

Career page

Every verified company gets a public page at https://hire.talentd.in/careers/your-company-slug. It lists your open jobs, with cities, pay and deadline, and each one links to the job on talentd where candidates apply. You can share the link anywhere.

Team

• Owner: full access.
• Admin: manages the company profile and the team.
• Recruiter: posts jobs and works through applicants.
• Viewer: can look, not change.

Invite people from Team. Everyone on the team sees the same company's jobs and applicants.

Can I hire experienced people? Yes. Set the experience range on the job. Most candidates on talentd are freshers and early-career.

Why can't I see a candidate's phone number? Contact details unlock when you shortlist the candidate.
